As we prepare to wrap up 2020

As we prepare to wrap up 2020 and spend time with friends and family over the festive season, Soshi and the Zanshin Instructors extend our warmest wishes to everyone in the Zanshin Martial Arts community. May you all get to enjoy some time with those you love and have some time off from what has been a challenging year.

Thank you for supporting Zanshin Martial Arts this year. We were fortunate to welcome many new club members, have four club gradings and the Dan grading. Congratulations again to each of you who successfully graded.

We look forward to seeing you again in 2021 and wish you a happy and healthy year ahead.

The end of 2020 and start of 2021 training dates for all Zanshin dojos is available from all instructors.

Once a year we open our Ai Ki class to all senior students.  This is a class you don’t normally get to attend until you are a brown belt, and is a wonderful opportunity to experience the training that our Black belts do.

Soshi and Renshi’s will be running various activities in groups to give you an all round experience of the type of training we do.  You will get to try arm locks, rolling, blending and weapons training!

The cost is $15 and runs for 1 hour before the Dan Grading.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, places are limited to those who have registered.

Zanshin Classes Closed

Zanshin classes will be closed from today, following the Government decision to close all non essential businesses and services, including indoor sports. We are disappointed to not be able to continue to bring you fun and challenging training but the health and safety of our community will always be our top priority.

Being at home has its challenges and we will be posting different exercises and activities you can do at home if you want to keep up with your training while you are in isolation. We hope you follow our posts and get some great ideas.

We will continue to monitor the government guidelines and will keep you up to date with any changes. Subscribe to our email list if you haven’t already for more updates.
